Search continues for area businessman

LIMA — The family of Dominic Fricano is still seeking information on the whereabouts of the Lima businessman more than a week after his disappearance.

Fricano, owner of Viva Maria, a pizzeria in the Lima Mall, has been missing since approximately 11 a.m. November 30, when he left the mall to make a store deposit, but never made it to the bank. Fricano, 55, who came to the United States from Italy as a teenager and owns Viva Maria with his wife, Susan, was driving a white 2004 Chevrolet express van with license plate number FFW 1301. The van had a silver-colored rack on top and Christmas lights in the back window. Neither he nor the van has been seen since November 30.

Fricano is described as 5 feet, 11 inches in height, weighing approximately 250 pounds. He has brown eyes, a beard and mustache (see photo at left) and black hair, with touches of gray in it.

His wife said she feels her husband is not the type to just leave without a note or something left behind. Law enforcement officers were able to get a GPS reading on Fricano’s cell phone in Delphos at approximately 11:27 a.m. on November 30 before the phone was turned off.
