Carrol Lynn Daugherty

Carrol Lynn Daugherty, 54, of Grover Hill, died at 9:58 p.m. Thursday, December 13, 2012, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born May 24, 1958, in Van Wert, the daughter of the late Fred Thor and Alice (McMichael) Thor. On February 11, 1978, she married Patrick Daugherty, who survives in Grover Hill.

Other survivors include three children, Carrie (Greg) Dysinger of Grover Hill, Candace (Brian) Couto of Cecil and Cassandra “Cassie” (Jeff) Briner of Fort Campbell, Ky.; four siblings, Deb (Dan) Stevens of Van Wert, David Thor of Kentucky, and Andrew Thor and Faith Thor, both of Van Wert; and eight grandchildren.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Monday, December 17, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Deacon Andrew McMahon officiating.

There will be no calling hours.
