Rebecca Colleen Moore

Rebecca Colleen Moore, 87, of Winchester, Ky., and formerly of Paulding, died Thursday, January 3, 2013.

She was born in Paulding County, the daughter of the late Benjamin Britton and Dorothy (Geyer) Moore. On January 29, 1953, she married Leland M. Carr, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include two children, Mary Sue (Terry) Dohoney of Bowling Green and David M. (Leigh) Carr of Lexington, Ky.; five grandchildren; a brother, John H. “Jack” (Marie) Moore of Paulding; one sister, Marilyn Beuhler of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; and many nieces and nephews.

Two infant daughters; and a brother, Benjamin Henry Moore, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 8, at First Christian Church in Paulding. Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery in Paulding.

Calling hours are from 3-8 p.m. Monday, January 7, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding and an hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.
