Robert A. Conrad

Robert A. Conrad, 73, of Van Wert, died at 3:10 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Ind.

He was born May 28, 1939, in Fort Wayne, the son of the late Clayton and Alice (Parr) Conrad. He married Sandra (Fowler) Conrad, who survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include three children, Todd Conrad of North Carolina, Rick Conrad of Florida and Theresa Hunter of Florida; A brother, Mike Conrad of Columbia City, Ind.; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A brother and one sister also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 12, at First United Methodist Church in Van Wert, with the Rev. Gus Christo-Baker officiating.

Calling hours are an hour prior to services Saturday at the church.

Preferred memorial: Donor’s choice.
