Nancy A. Hofacker

Nancy A. Hofacker, 63, of Van Wert, died Monday, February 4, 2013, at her residence.

She was born November 18, 1949, in Decatur, Ind., the daughter of the late Leo and Myrtle (Walters) Workinger. On April 24, 1971, she married Ray Hofacker, who survives in Van Wert.

She is also survived by her son, Darin (Aimee) Hofacker of Van Wert; grandchildren Jaylan, Darin Jr. and Arber Hofacker, all of Van Wert; a sister, Barbara Fox of Decatur; and one brother, H. Dale (Dianna) Working of Greentown, Ind.

She worked as a housekeeper, was a volunteer with the Van Wert County Council on Aging and was a member of Van Wert County Hospital’s Twig I group.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 9, at Brickner Funeral Home, with the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, February 8, and an hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
