VWHS to host Red Cross blood drive

Van Wert High School Student Council is sponsoring a Red Cross Blood Drive on Friday, February 22, from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the high school gymnasium.

This blood drive is open to the public, and a goal has been set to reach 100 units collected. The month of February is American Heart Month, which makes it a great time to come show support by donating blood.

Those wanting to donate should bring a picture ID or Red Cross donor ID card. Donors should come in the high school athletic entrance doors (labeled H22).

In addition, anyone donating in February will be entered into a regionwide drawing for an NCAA Sweet 16 package.
