County student recital this Sunday

The Van Wert County Foundation, in cooperation with the Van Wert, Crestview and Lincolnview High School music departments, invite area residents to attend the 10th annual Van Wert County Young Artists Recital.

The recital will be held this Sunday, February 17, starting at 3 p.m., in the sanctuary of First United Methodist Church in Van Wert. The concert is free and open to the public.

Featured will be some of the best talented musicians from the three county schools. Performances will include solos and ensembles of instrumental, vocal and piano music that were highly rated at the recent Ohio Music Educators Association’s Solo & Ensemble Contest held at St. Marys Memorial High School.

A public reception will follow the recital in Kraut Chapel of the church.
