Center Street fire

Some Good Samaritans (above) help douse a fire and pull burning items from a porch at 504 Center St. in Van Wert on Sunday. The passersby took quick action to lessen the damage from the fire, which was contained on the porch of the residence, while an occupant of the house was apparently unaware there was a fire.
