VWHS announces Red Out fundraiser

The Van Wert High School Student Council is sponsoring a Red Out at the final home boys’ basketball game this Friday night, February 22.

The Red Out is not only in support of the Cougars, but also in support of the American Heart Association, since February is Heart Month.

During the games, the Student Council will be selling hearts for display on a heart wall. The hearts can be purchased for $1 and can be given in honor, or in memory, of someone, or can be given because the purchaser cares.  The Student Council will also be accepting donations throughout the games that will be given to the American Heart Association.

Area residents are asked to come out and support the Van Wert Cougars and the American Heart Association by wearing red to the basketball game on Friday night.
