The Lady Knights earned a 46-40 victory over Delphos St. John’s in the first game of the night, while the Lady Lancers downed the other Delphos girls’ team, Jefferson, 49-43, in the nightcap.

Crestview was led by Emily Bauer’s 12 points, while Mackenzie Riggenbach scored 11 points and Lindsey Motycka added 9 for the Knights. St. John’s Katie Vorst was the game’s top scorer with 18 points, but was also the only Blue Jay in double figures on the night.

Crestview got out to a 12-8 lead and increased its advantage to nine points, 23-14, at the half. St. John’s outscored the Knights in the third quarter, 13-9, to cut the lead to five heading into the final quarter, but Crestview stayed with the Blue Jays in the final stanza to grab the victory.

With the win, the Knights are 21-2 on the year, while St. John’s ends the season at 15-5.

In the second game, a scrappy Jefferson team played better than its record, but still couldn’t quite overcome the Lady Lancers.

Lincolnview led 11-7 at the end of a quarter, but the Lady Wildcats went on a 10-6 run in the second stanza to tie the game up, 17-all, at the half. The Lancers didn’t lose their composure, though, outscoring Jefferson 32-26 in the second half to hold off the Wildcats.

Katie Dye led Lincolnview with 18 points, while Kaitlyn Brant added 17 points for the Lancers. Jefferson was led by Rileigh Stockwell’s 17 points, while Brooke Culp added 12 for the Lady Jeffcats.

Lincolnview shot well from the field, hitting 17 of 34 (50 percent) despite missing all six of their three-point attempts. Delphos made 12 of 33 field goal attempts (36.4 percent), while also hitting 2 of 8 from three-point range (25 percent). The Lancers were 15 of 21 at the free-throw line (71.4 percent), while Jefferson made 17 of 24 free throws (70.8 percent).

The rebounding edge went to the Wildcats, 18-16, while Lincolnview had fewer turnovers, 17-20.

The Lancers are now 18-5 on the season, while Jefferson ends the year at 8-16.
