Willow Bend offers St. Paddy’s Day buffets

Join Willow Bend Country Club for its St. Patrick’s Day celebration with United Way of Van Wert County on Thursday, March 17.

No membership is required and food service is open to the public for three buffet meals that day. Meals being served, the cost, and menus, are as follows:

Breakfast buffet ($8.99) — Waffle and omelet station, corned beef hash with fried eggs, sausage biscuits and gravy, hash browns, bacon, fresh fruit and pastries.

Lunch buffet ($8.99) — Beef and Irish stout stew, garlic mashed (Irish) potatoes, home style corned beef and cabbage and shepherd’s pie.

Dinner buffet ($9.99) — Beef and Guinness pie, Irish potato casserole, savory red cabbage with potatoes and sausage, corned beef and cabbage, mashed potatoes, vegetables, Beacan Bruithe (baked mushrooms), Irish cream cheesecake and Irish apple cake.

Buffets will include lemonade and coffee. Soft drinks and bar service will also be available.
