Leadership Ohio nominations sought
Leadership Ohio news
Nominations are still being accepted to the 2013 class of Leadership Ohio. The mission of Leadership Ohio is to identify, educate, communicate, inspire and engage Ohio’s current and emerging leaders for the well being of the people of Ohio.
The eight-month core program informs participants about key issues impacting the future of our state, and challenges them to broaden their reach and impact to effectively address those issues. The Leaders selected for the program take a commanding role in making Ohio a better place in which to live and work and play.
Leadership Ohio meets for two days once a month for eight months. Each month focuses on a topic important to Ohio’s economy: agriculture, military, energy, education, government, health, etc.
An informational luncheon will be held in the Dayton area on Friday, March 8, from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., at The Fox and Hound, 2661 Fairfield Commons Blvd. in Beavercreek.

Leadership Ohio is a statewide educational/experiential program designed to provide leaders from diverse entities and geographic areas around the state with the opportunity to examine issues from a statewide perspective. A major expectation of programmatic outcomes is that the issues and experiences addressed will remain at the forefront of each leader’s consciousness as they make decisions. Leaders who graduate from the program are better equipped to serve their communities, their workplace and Ohio.
