B for B-a-a-h?
Van Wert County got a bunch of snow dumped on it on Wednesday, with 7 inches of the white stuff in the city of Van Wert and 7 1/2 inches in Convoy, according to County EMA Director Rick McCoy. And that’s not all. The possibility of up to 2 inches of rain failing on the county sometime between Sunday and Tuesday could cause some flooding problems for low-lying areas of the county, McCoy said. That doesn’t mean, though, that some people didn’t decide to enjoy what is hoped will be the last big snowfall of this winter. The Bebouts — Trevor and daughters Brianna and Carly — crafted this snow sculpture on Wednesday. Trevor’s wife, Nikki, said the “B” stands for Bebout, Go Bears and Bring on Spring! Most county residents can definitely go with that last statement. (photo submitted)
