Norma Jean (Hurless) Harmon
Norma Jean (Hurless) Harmon, 67, of Willshire, died at 9:16 a.m. Friday, March 8, 2013, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne, Ind.
She was born November 7, 1945, in Willshire Township, Van Wert County, the daughter of the late Harold Wilson and Pauline (Foster) Hurless. On February 23, 1963, she married Larry D. Harmon, who preceded her in death on June 29, 2012.
Survivors include two sons, Jeff (Angie) Harmon and Kevin Harmon, both of Van Wert; a daughter, Tina (Ronald) Waltmire of Convoy; one brother, Ivan Harold Hurless of Fort Wayne, Ind.; two sisters, Mary Ruskaup of Van Wert and Marlene (Dennis) Lobsiger of Decatur, Ind.; and six grandchildren.
Three brothers, Gerald Wilson “Shag” Hurless, Don Hurless and Paul Hurless; and two sisters, Alice Marcile Oechsle and Dorothy Poling, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Fletcher Cemetery in Willshire Township.
Calling hours are from 1-8 p.m. Monday, March 11, and an hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials: Wren Ball Park Association or the Wren Fire Department and EMS.
