Time again to ‘spring forward’ for DST
Staff and other news sources
This Sunday, Ohioans will “spring forward” — setting clocks ahead an hour, starting at 2 a.m. — for the beginning of Daylight Savings Time.
It’s also a time when State Fire Marshal Larry Flowers recommends that Ohioans replace batteries in their smoke detectors, while others also recommend replacing batteries in carbon monoxide detectors as well, for those who have them.
The State Liquor Control Board also reminds Ohioans that bars and restaurants serving alcohol must close early Sunday morning because of the time change.
