EMA office sets weather spotter class

The Van Wert County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management has scheduled a severe weather awareness/weather spotters course for Wednesday, March 20, from 7-9 p.m., in the Marsh Foundation Auditorium.
The course, which will be taught by County EMA Director Rick McCoy, is free to all area storm spotters and anyone wanting to gain a better understanding of severe weather and how to protect oneself when severe weather threatens.
