Catherine M. Miller

Catherine M. Miller, 90, of Rockford, died at 3:01 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater.

She was born October 30, 1922, in Liberty Township, near Rockford, the daughter of the late Theodore “Ted” and Carrie (Becher) Leininger. On December 29, 1945, she married Glenn N. Miller, who preceded her in death on June 24, 1994.

Survivors include a son, Jerry (Cheryl) Miller of Fort Wayne, Ind.; one son-in-law, Kenneth (Margo) Brodbeck of Celina; a sister, Dorothy Jean Hellwarth of Celina; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Janet Brodbeck; and a grandson, Jeff Brodbeck, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16, at Zion Lutheran Church in Chattanooga, with Pastor Karen Tammoria officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Lutheran Church Cemtery in Chattanooga.

Calling hours are from 4-8 p.m. Friday, March 15, at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford.
