Patricia A. Winicker

Patricia A. Winicker, 65, of Van Wert, died at 8:04 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born August 16, 1947, in Lima, the daughter of Martha (Krietemeyer) Bockey, who survives in Delphos, and the late James Bockey. On April 21, 1979, she married Paul A. Winicker, who survives in Van Wert.

Mrs. Winicker retired in 2011 from Vantage Career Center in Van Wert. She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Van Wert.

In addition to her mother and husband, survivors include a brother, Paul Bockey of Delphos; and four sisters, Marie (James) Guest of St. Louis, Mo., Nancy (Kenneth) Rumschlag and Jane (Steven) Goedde, both of Delphos, and Alice (Ronald) Rumschlag of New Haven, Ind.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family, with Deacon Andy McMahon officiating.

Calling hours are from 1-6 p.m. Monday, March 18, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, where a Rosary service will be held at 4 that afternoon.
