Harold Duane Beech

Harold Duane Beech, 78, of Scott, died at 6:52 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2013, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

He was born September 3, 1934, in Scott, the son of the late Earl Forest and Emma Bernice (Waller) Beech.

Survivors include four sons, Merritt Beech, Matthew (Sara) Beech, Mitch Beech and Mark Beech, all of Scott; three grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and eight stepgreat-grandchildren.

A brother, Marlowe Beech; and two sisters, Metra Ross and Donna Foust, also preceded him in death.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, March 22, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with military rites to follow the services.

Calling hours are from noon until the time of services on Friday at the funeral home.
