Man allegedly pushes wife from vehicle

Delphos Police Dept. news

DELPHOS — A Delphos man was arrested on Sunday for allegedly pushing his wife out of a moving car while in that city.

Randall Murray

Randall Murray, 55, allegedly pushed his wife out of the car while he was driving near the intersection of Clay and Third streets in Delphos, according to a call received about 9:19 Sunday night. Another family member who was also inside the vehicle was able to jump out before Murray drove away.

Murray also had threatened harm to another family member who lived outside of Delphos in Van Wert County, and the Van Wert County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched to that person’s residence.

Delphos police officers also responded to the residence because of its proximity to the city limits and officers from both departments took Murray into custody on domestic violence charges.

He was incarcerated in the Van Wert County Correctional Facility and will make an initial appearance in Van Wert Municipal Court on the charges sometime this week.

An additional charge of domestic violence is being investigated by Van Wert deputies.
