On a windy Tuesday evening, the Van Wert Cougar track teams opened their home season with a tri-meet with Defiance and Paulding. The action saw the Cougars sweep both meets on the evening. The boys won 67 to Defiance’s 51, and Paulding’s 19. On the girls’ side, the Cougars won 63 to Defiance’s 40 and Paulding’s 33.
