Floyd Timothy Agler

Floyd Timothy “Tim” Agler, 83, of Ohio City, died at 6:26 p.m. Sunday, April 14, 2013, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

He was born December 11, 1929, in Columbus, the son of the late Floyd E. and Clara Catherine (Merkle) Agler. On April 2, 1967, he married Dorothy May (Mengerink) Agler, who survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include two sons, Randall K. (Patricia) Agler of Wooster and Brent (Michelle) Agler of Rockford; three sisters, Marjorie (Robert) Cureton of Carlsbad, Calif., Beverley (Harold) Griffith of Glendora, Calif., and Gloria (David) Koch of Cridersville; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 18, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastor Marvin Schwartz officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City, with graveside military rites performed by the American Legion.
