Genevieve L. Siebert

Genevieve L. Siebert, 90, of Rockford, died at 5:40 a.m. Monday, April 15, 2013, at the Laurels of Shane Hill in Rockford.

She was born March 27, 1923, in Liberty Township, Mercer County, the daughter of the late Samuel and Lela (Myers) Leininger. On July 20, 1946, she married Donald E. Siebert, who preceded her in death on November 11, 2002.

Survivors include a son, Gary Siebert of Rockford; one daughter, Janice (Jerome) Holcomb of New Bremen; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A brother, Gene Leininger, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 18, at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford, with Pastor Richard VanHorn officiating. Burial will be in Buck Cemetery near Celina.

Calling hours are from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, and an hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials: Mount Tabor Church of God or to a charity of donor’s choice.
