Drug drop-off program deadline soon

The Van Wert County Sheriff’s Office’s prescription medication drop-off initiative is drawing to a close. The initiative, which began March 11 and ends April 27, allows local residents wanting to participate in the federal Drug Enforcement Agency’s National Take Back initiative to bring in unwanted prescription medicines, no questions asked, to the sheriff’s office for disposal.

The sheriff’s office is located at 113 N. Market St. in Van Wert.
