Earth Day presentation

Neil Voje of Iberdrola Renewables spoke to second grade students at Van Wert Elementary School about the earth, how they can help the earth out and how wind turbines help the earth too. Voje provided students with facts about the turbines, including a turbine’s height, and weight. Most importantly, the second graders learned how they are helping out the earth by using wind to produce power. Students now know more about what activities they can do to help keep the Earth clean, as well as ways they can produce energy to help out the Earth on a larger level as well. (VWES photo)
