Service Club to sponsor speech clinic

The Van Wert Service Club will sponsor a summer speech & language clinic available to county children experiencing difficulty with sound production, speech fluency, and language expression and comprehension.

The program will run in two segments this year.  Each child will receive one 25-minute private therapy session per week, which parents may also attend. Segment 1 will run June 10-July 2, followed by a two-week break.  Segment 2 will run July 22-August 13. Children may attend one segment or both segments.

All sessions will be held in the home clinic of Caren Miglin, licensed speech-language pathologist. Cost is $25 per four-week session, but reduced fees are available for families that suffer financial hardship.
