VW Area Boychoir sets spring concert

The Van Wert Area Boychoir will hold its annual spring concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 19, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, corner of Washington and Sycamore streets. The concert is free and open to the public.

The Boychoir, founded in 2004, is comprised of members from Vann Wert, Crestview, Parkway, Lincolnview and Wayne Trace school districts.

The choir is under the director of Artistic Director Brian Anders, while Melissa Clay is accompanies, Larry Taylor is arranger and technical director and Jake Wilder is the choir’s vocal coach.

The Van Area Boychoir rehearses on a weekly basis throughout the school year, with the goal to provide an opportunity for boys of all backgrounds and abilities to participate in a quality musical, cultural and educational experience.
