WrenStock rock festival coming in June
WrenStock news
WREN — The first-ever WrenStock event on Saturday, June 15, promises a day of great food, fellowship and rock ‘n’ roll.
Fort Wayne’s “100 Proof” kicks the day off at noon, followed by the music of Van Wert area band Double Kik. Birch Band from Decatur, Ind., will play third in the lineup, while local favorite Boomswang will close out the music festival.
Tickets are still $10 and available at the Wren Restaurant, Bill Miller Auto Sales in Decatur (event sponsor) or from any committee member. Tickets will be $15 the day of the show.
The event is open to all ages but those wanting to attend will need a ticket to enter. Attendees will be given a band — with the proper ID — to enter the beverage garden. No carry-ins of any kind and no pets will be allowed. Bring a lawn chair and sunscreen and enjoy the show.
In the meantime, WrenStock merchandise is now available and will also be for sale the day of the show. Proceeds from the event will help fund the Wiffleball Tournament in Wren in August.
