Mary Agnes Hempfling
Mary Agnes Hempfling, 87, of Delphos, died at 3:20 a.m. Sunday, July 14, 2013, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Delphos.
She was born July 3, 1926, in Ottoville, the daughter of the late Theodore and Bernadine (Hellman) Beining. On July 2, 1949, she married Herbert Hempfling, who survives in Delphos.
Other survivors include a son, Jack (Sandy) Hempfling of Le Roy, N.Y.; two daughters, Judy Hempfling of Yellow Springs and Mary Lou (Keith) Pohlman of Delphos; a brother, Ray Beining of Delphos; two sisters, Alice Arnzen of Delphos and Irene (Joe) Schroeder of Ottawa; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A son, Terry Hempfling; three sisters, Mildred Beckman, Angela Kimmet and Gertrude Schmitz; and one brother, Rudy Beining, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 17, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos, with Father Dave Reinhart officiating. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery in Delphos.
Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, where there will be a CD of A service at 7 p.m. and a parish wake held at 7:30 that evening.
