Texas Hold ‘Em tourney coming up

Just a reminder that the Van Wert County Council on Aging will be holding a Texas Hold em’ Tournament on Saturday, July 20, at the Senior Center, 220 Fox Road in Van Wert.

Registration for the tournament begins at noon and play begins at 1 p.m. Cost per person is $25. Players will have $4,000 in chips and will be able to buy back once during the first hour of play. All proceeds from the tournament will help to offset the rising fuel costs that the Council on Aging’s transportation service has been incurring.
