Brenda Louise Kiracofe

Brenda Louise Kiracofe of Van Wert died at 3 p.m. Thursday, August 8, 2013, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.

She was born April 24, 1956, in Van Wert, to the late George A. and Vera Kathryn (Sites) Brewer. On March 8, 1975, she married Roger Lee Kiracofe, who survives.

She is also survived by a daughter, Heather (Ron) Kroeger of Landeck; and one son, Joshua Lee Kiracofe of Van Wert. Also surviving are grandchildren who were her pride and joy: Sean Ramos, Alexis Ayers, Brendan, DJ and Quinn Kiracofe. Other survivors include her siblings, Judy (Jerry) Fisher and Darlene (Howard) Shobe, both of Van Wert, and Jerry (Patricia) Brewer of Decatur, Ind.; A son, Rodney Lee Kiracofe; and her in-laws, William and Dora May (Myers) Kiracofe, also preceded her in death.

Brenda was a homemaker and loved to play Bingo.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 13, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating.

Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, August 12, and an hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.
