Red Cross sets open house for new CEO

Area residents will have an opportunity to meet the new community chapter executive of the American Red Cross in Van Wert County during an open house on Monday, August 19.

Sandra Lane was recently appointed to lead the Red Cross in Van Wert County. She brings a strong background in public relations, blood services management and financial management.

The event will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Red Cross office, located at 208 E. Main St. in downtown Van Wert. Light refreshments will be served, while information on Red Cross programs and services will also be available and board members and other volunteers on hand to answer questions.
