The Lincolnview varsity cross country boys track team traveled to Hebron this past weekend to compete in the OHSAA pre-season invitational held on the state course.

The boys raced in the big school division, made up of mostly Division II schools and were able to place sixth out of 25 schools.

Bayley Tow started off his junior season with a fourth place finish overall in an outstanding time of 16:46. He was followed by teammates Ben Bilimek (40th), Alex Rodriguez (45th), Trevor Neate (59th), Travis Lippi (60th), Tyler Brant (79th), and Colton Snyder (98th). There were 206 runners in the race.

The entire Lancer team will open its season next Saturday at the Delphos St. John’s High School’s Blue Jay Invitational.
