Knight boys 5th at Blue Jay Invitational

DELPHOS – The Crestview High School boys’ cross country team was fifth at the Blue Jay Invitational cross country meet in Delphos on Saturday, while the Lady Knights also competed in the meet.

Charles Thornburg paced the boys’ team with a sixth-place finish, while Brandon Clayton was 15th, Copsey Bogle 31st, Bryce Richardson 45th and Cody Mefferd 46th.

Senior Chelsea Hancock led the girls’ team with a 41st-place finish in a time of 23:38. She was followed, in order, by teammates Hali Finfrock, Janelle May, Eden Allison and Brooke Ripley.
