City announces U.S. 127 road closing

Van Wert Safety-Service Director Jay Fleming has announced that U.S. 127 will be closed at the city’s water treatment plant for a street cut.

U.S. 127, between Fox Road/Hospital Drive and Cooper Road, will be closed beginning this Monday, September 9, at 7 a.m. until Tuesday, September 10, at 4:30 p.m.

The roadway will be impassable while work is being done.
