Lancer jr. high runners at Spencerville

SPENCERVILLE — This past weekend the Lincolnview Junior High School cross country team competed at the Spencerville Bearcat Invitational. The Lancers finished second out of 43 teams and just missed getting first place by four points to a very strong St. Henry squad.
Leading the way for the Lancers was Calahan Wolfrum with a first place finish in a time of 11:11. Sam Myers (11th), Karter Tow (25th), Alek Bowersock (33rd), Sterling Rigdon (70th), Logan Williams (93rd), Corbin Roberts (100th), Andrew Robinson (104th), Keegan Cowan (117th), James Greathouse (118th), Dylan Neate (130th), Noah Daeger (145th), Jacob Keysor (151st) and Cameron McAbee (198th).
The Lady Lancers where led by Alena Looser and Brayden Langdon, who finished 22nd and 23rd, respectively; also scoring for the team was Maddie Snyder (39th), Trinity Welch (47th) Olivia Gorman (98th), Miah Katalenas (122nd), Madison Sill (124th) and Shae Hines (170th).
The Lady Lancers finished sixth out of 30 teams, just missed fifth place by a point.
