Virginia Fay Sealscott

Virginia Fay Sealscott, 89, of Van Wert, died at 4:19 a.m. Tuesday, September 10, 2013, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Van Wert.

She was born May 25, 1924, in Grover Hill, the daughter of the late Foy D. and Cleo E. (Sterns) Martin. On April 19, 1945, she married Doyle Morris Sealscott, who preceded her in death on April 3, 2009.

Survivors include a daughter, Donna Marie (Gary) Allen of Colonial Heights, Va.; two sons, Robert Kent (Teresa) Sealscott of Crown Point, Ind., and J. Richard (Deb) Sealscott of Van Wert; a sister, Helen Stahl of Fort Myers, Fla.; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a nephew.

A brother-in-law, Kenneth Sealscott; and a niece, Tina Stahl Buchannan; also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at noon Saturday, September 14, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastor Scott Campbell officiating. Burial will  be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
