Judith Kay Benschneider

Judith Kay Benschneider, 71, of Van Wert, died at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2013, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Van Wert.

She was born March 28, 1942, in Van Wert, the daughter of the late Robert and Norma (Draving) Hesher.

Survivors include two daughters, Terri (Lyle) Ulrey of Van Wert and Lanette (Jarrod) Dossen of Fort Wayne, Ind.; a sister, Carol (Paul) Arthur of Van Wert; five grandchildren; and one niece and two nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 7, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Van Wert, with the Rev. William Haggis officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, October 6, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert and an hour prior to services Monday at the church.
