Van Wert volleyball information

ANTWERP — The Van Wert Lady Cougar volleyball team traveled to Antwerp and defeated the Lady Archers in four games by scores of 25-22, 22-25, 25-13 and 25-18.

The Cougars are now 14-6 on the season and will return to action tonight as they travel to Wapakoneta to take on the Lady Redskins in a Western Buckeye League match-up.

Van Wert varsity statistical leaders

Serving – Alexa Dunlap, 19/22; Claire Gamble, 16/19.

Hitting – Taylor Doidge, seven kills; Dunlap, five kills; Cheyenne Handy, four kills.

Defensive digs – Amanda Coplin, 15 digs; Gamble, 14 digs.

Setting – Coplin, 12 assists; Riley Jones, eight assists.

The junior varsity team defeated Antwerp in three games by scores of 25-18, 24-26, and 25-13.
