Pickup truck stopped in VW

A Ford F-150 pickup truck matching the description of a vehicle involved in a number of rural burglaries in several counties, including Van Wert, was stopped by local law enforcement personnel at the Pak-A-Sak service station on South Shannon Street late this morning. Here, Van Wert County sheriff’s deputies inventory items found in the pickup truck. Sheriff Thomas Riggenbach said individuals were being interviewed in connection with the case.
