Rosemary T. Deitsch
Rosemary T. Deitsch, 75, of Rockford, died at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 20, 2013, at Colonial Nursing Home in Rockford, where she had been a patient.
She was born December 15, 1937, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of the late Francis and Henrietta (Hirth) Fowler. On November 27, 1959, she married John Deitsch, who preceded her in death on September 9, 2009.
Survivors include three sons, Aaron Lee Deitsch of Rockford, and Jon Scott (Gaylene) Deitsch and Greg (Renee) Deitsch, both of Celina; five grandchildren; two brothers, Edward (Sharon) Fowler of Celina and Raymond Fowler of Itasca, Ill.; two sisters, Lorraine Heiland of Celina and Margaret (Charles) Muhlenkamp of Urbana; and a brother-in-law, Carl Deitsch of Celina.
Two brothers, Donald and Robert Fowler; one sister, Delores Deitsch; a sister-in-law, Pat Fowler; and one brother-in-law, Norman Heiland, also preceded her in death.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, October 25, at St. Teresa Catholic Church in Rockford, with Father Ken Alt officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Rockford.
Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, October 24, and from 9:30-10:15 a.m. Friday at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford, prior to services at the church.
