Robert E. Gorman

Robert E. Gorman, 94, of Paulding, died Monday, October 21, 2013, at his residence.

He was born in Jackson Township, White County, Ind., the son of the late Thomas E. and Wanda (Caughell) Gorman. On April 22, 1939, he married Marjorie Ann (Albery) Gorman, who survives.

In addition to his wife, survivors include a daughter, Lou Ann (Joe) Martin of Eugene, Ore.; two sons, Greg R. Gorman and Jeff Gorman, both of Paulding; two grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Three brothers, John, Charles and Fred Gorman; and two sisters, Doris Gorman and Thelma Keller, also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, October 25, at Paulding United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Ben Lowell officiating. Burial will be in Blue Creek Cemetery in rural Paulding County, with graveside military rites performed by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 587 of Paulding.

Calling hours are from noon until the time of services on Friday at the church.
