Betty Lou (Unger) Hanenkratt

Betty Lou (Unger) Hanenkratt, 83, of Paulding, died Thursday, January 27, 2011, at Paulding County Hospital in Paulding.

She was born December 3, 1927, in Paulding, the daughter of the late James and Florence (Ludwig) Unger. On June 29, 1973, she married William B. Hanenkratt, who preceded her in death on January 2, 2001.

Survivors include a daughter, Denise A. Lange of Hicksville; two sons, Mikeal A. (Gena) George of Clyde and James George of Hicksville; two stepdaughters, Rita Odle of Frankton, Ind., and Barbara Airton of New Haven, Ind.; two brothers, James and Robert Unger, both of Paulding; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Kay George, and two great-grandsons, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, March 14, at First Christian Church in Paulding, with the Rev. Greg Bibler officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery in Paulding.

Calling hours will be an hour prior to services Monday at the church.
