Phyllis Margaret Rosendahl

Phyllis Margaret Rosendahl, 88, of Van Wert, died at 12:45 p.m. Friday, November 15, 2013, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born July 15, 1925, in Ridge Township, Van Wert County, the daughter of the late Floyd William and Emma (Railing) Shaw. On February 5, 1949, she married Harold Louis Rosendahl, who survives.

Other survivors include a son, Allan E. Rosendahl of Van Wert; one daughter, Cathleen Edgell of Bluffton, Ind.; a brother, Harold Shaw of Van Wert; one sister, Catherine Ellinger of Huber Heights; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A brother, Wilbur Carl Shaw; and one sister, Ruth Miller, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 19, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastor Scott Campbell officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Convoy.

Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, November 18, and an hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.
