Grace E. Anderson
Grace E. Anderson was born July 13, 1919, and departed from this life on Sunday, November 17, 2013.

She was one of six children born to Royal and Charlotte (Cook) Eibling in Paulding County. She graduated from Payne High School in 1938, later went to beauty school and was a beauty operator (hairdresser) until 1961.
Grace married John W. Anderson in February 1941, and was his helpmate all of her life. They have one daughter, Beverly (James) Krueckeberg of Convoy; a grandson, Ty (Barb) Krueckeberg of Monroeville, Ind.; a great-granddaughter, Samantha (Kyle) Rode of Delphos; and a great-grandson, Jacob Krueckeberg of Monroeville.
She also has two siblings, Marcile Anderson of Huntington, Ind., and John (Shirley) Eibling of Van Wert.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ida Sammetinger and Betty Ryan, and a brother, George Eibling.
Grace liked to be busy and tried to do something special every day. She also helped at church, playing the piano and being a chorister. With the help of her daughter, Beverly, and Kathy Sheehan, she made banners to beautify the church and received a blessing each time she made one.
She also had a dear friend that checked on her every day, even though she was busy with her work and family. Grace wanted to thank Pat Salway for going out of her way for her.
She what is important for our lives is how we invest our time while we are on this earth. Now only God and people who knew her know what that time meant. It doesn’t matter how much we accumulate or we own, but it’s how we live our lives that counts.
Grace loved to paint outside and make things look clean and bright. She also, in her later years, made a lot of quilts and gave them away.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 22, at East Liberty United Methodist Church, with Pastor Ralph Klinker officiating. Burial will follow in Monroeville Memorial Cemetery.
