Berneice Young

Berneice Young, 100, of Van Wert, died at 1:48 p.m. Monday, November 18, 2013, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born August 26, 1913, in Willshire, the daughter of the late Fred and Fanny M. (Krick) Stetler. She married Harley H. Young, who preceded her in death on November 17, 1989.

Survivors include a son, Bob (Sue) Young of Van Wert; one daughter, Joy (Carl) Demidovich of Van Wert; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

A son, Charles Young; seven siblings; and four grandchildren, also preceded her in death.

Private family services will be conducted at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

There will be no calling hours.
