VWHS to have financial aid meeting

Van Wert High School information

An informational meeting for parents/guardians of senior students regarding financial aid will be held at Van Wert High School from 5:30-7:15 p.m. Monday, December 9, in the First Federal Lecture Hall of the Niswonger Performing Arts Center of Northwest Ohio.

The VWHS Office of Student Services has arranged for Lawrence Matthews, Bluffton University, to present on the financial aid process. Matthews will explain the step-by-step procedures in completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid and will answer any questions parents have regarding the entire Financial Aid application process.  Other literature and information relating to the process will be available.

In addition, Larry Wendel, executive secretary of the Van Wert County Foundation, will explain the requirements and application procedures for securing grants.

All parents of senior students should take advantage of the opportunity to attend this meeting. Those who cannot attend the meeting can feel free to contact the Student Services Office at their convenience.
