Lady Knights get easy win over Jennings

CONVOY — The Crestview Lady Knights got out to a quick start and rode a 20-2 opening stanza in route to a 58-33 dismantling of the Lady Musketeers.
Junior forward Lindsey Motycka led Crestview with 19 points, while sophomore center Emily Bauer added 15 points and 11 rebounds.
The Lady Knights were solid from the field, shooting a respectable 24 for 55 for 44 percent, while holding Fort Jennings to 10 for 29 shooting (26 percent). Crestview made 4 of 7 free throws (57 percent), while the Lady Musketeers were 12 of 19 from the line (63 percent).
The Lady Knights brought down 31 rebounds to 18 for Fort Jennings, while the Lady Musketeers had more turnovers, 12-8.
With the win, Crestview moves to 5-1 overall and will return to play this Thursday against Northwest Conference foe Delphos Jefferson at Ray Etzler Gymnasium.
Crestview was also victorious in the junior varsity contest by a score of 42-34.
