Colleen Cook

Colleen Cook, 85, of Decatur, Ind., died at 6:56 p.m. Saturday, December 21, 2013, at Village of Heritage in Monroeville, Ind.

She was born January 26, 1928, in Grover Hill, the daughter of the late Ray and Rosella (Harpster) Elston. She had been married to Carl E. Cook, who preceded her in death on November 14, 2002.

Survivors include two sons, Darl W. (Debbie Long) Cook of Van Wert and Mark A. (Gwen) Cook of Convoy; two brothers, Don (Desi) Elston of Grover Hill and Gary W. (Cathy) Elston of Montgomery, Texas; three sisters, Lois (Kenneth Jr.) Kohn of Dublin, Eileen Thomas of Paulding and Rosalie (Roger) McClure of Grover Hill; three grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Orpha Elston.

Two brothers, Lloyd and Randy M. Elston, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 27, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert. Burial will be in Middle Creek Cemetery in Grover Hill.

Calling hours are from 3-7 p.m. Thursday, December 26, at the funeral home.
