VWPD seeking owner of ring lost in April

The Van Wert Police Department is seeking the owner of a ring turned into the department in April 2013.

Since no one has come forward so far to claim the ring, the VWPD is required, per the Ohio Revised Code, to give public notice that the ring will be disposed of by court order 30 days from the date of this release.

Anyone who has lost a ring around the April timeframe should contact the police department from 7 a.m. through 3 p.m. with a detailed description of the ring and approximate location where it would have been lost to assist in establishing ownership.
